"The Memory of Kabissa" is a documentary produced by SUMMER PALETTE CO LTD and presented by the China Review Studio and Bilibili. The film tells the story of 10 years ago when former Belgian Ambassador to China, Patrick Nijs, and his wife Deng Minyan arrived at a village called 'Lao Zhuan Di' in Kunming, Yunnan Province to practice permaculture from an ecological balance perspective. Patrick named the estate 'Kabissa'. Patrick met local young man Zhang Xinglin, a beekeeper born in the 90s, and the two try to develop an ecological business together because of their love for bees. Patrick also became close friends with the local Li Guanghe. Ten years have passed and ecological protection and sustainable development practices are receiving more and more attention.
