Based in China for over 20 years, Cloud Wang is a documentary DP whose work is built on one belief: the most powerful stories are found, not staged. Over more than twenty years behind the camera, he has followed that belief across China, from the frozen northern forests where he tracked the Siberian tiger, to southern shores where he filmed sea turtle rescues, to the western deserts where he listened for the mating calls of the Tibetan antelope, and into the restless cities of the east, where he observes the stories of modern life.
Moving between documentary, film and television, and advertising, Cloud brings the same commitment to every frame: patient observation, honest imagery, and visual storytelling that lets people and places speak for themselves. A native Chinese speaker fluent in English, he bridges cultures and creates work that resonates with audiences around the world.
